Job summary

Avaloq, founded in Switzerland, is a global leader in wealth management technology and services. The Object modelling, Financial Instr. & Feeds team within Application Management Services maintains data services for CH/FL SaaS clients with a focus on reliability and small enhancements.

The role requires 5+ years in fintech, programming skills, Avaloq certification, and strong analytical and communication abilities, all within a hybrid working setup across global offices.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science/Physics/Engineering/Mathematics or comparable education.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the fintech sector.
• Programming skills (XML, shell scripting, or any language).
• Avaloq certification.
• Knowledge of financial instruments and data feeds from external providers (SIX, etc).
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
• Excellent client orientation and communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide application management and support for the Object modelling, Financial Instr. & Feeds topics.
• Categorize, analyze and reproduce client issues.
• Provide workaround for incidents.
• Manage requests for information and service requests.
• Requirement and solution analysis of small enhancements.
• Implementation of bug fixes and estimation/implementation of small enhancements.
• Ensure high quality service to customers in terms of reliable delivery and efficient communication.

The Object modelling, Financial Instr. & Feeds team in the Application Management Services is responsible to provide application maintenance and small enhancements services for the functional area and all related topics for our CH/FL SaaS clients, with particular focus on managing Static data.

Your key tasks

• Provide application management and support for the Object modelling, Financial Instr. & Feeds topics
• Categorize, analyze and reproduce client issues
• Provide workaround for incidents
• Manage request of information and service requests
• Requirement and solution analysis of small enhancements
• Implementation of bug fixes and estimationand implementation of small enhancements
• Ensure high quality service to the customers in terms of reliable delivery and efficient communication
