Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. You will support energy efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations across assigned facilities.

The role involves diagnosing problems, reviewing work orders, and assisting with installations while following established procedures under supervision. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs+, climbing stairs or ladders, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in performing tasks.
• Good communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials to complete repairs; track progress.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
