Brand Communications and PR Director
The Brand Communications and PR Director is responsible for overseeing all corporate and brand digital and PR initiatives, ensuring an always-on social media presence, digital campaigns, community management and digital brand building across all relevant platforms. The role devises crisis communication plans, serves as the official spokesperson, and provides strategic direction for corporate social responsibility and advocacy programs.
Overall PR Strategy and Development
- Oversee all brand and corporate PR requirements from strategy development to evaluation.
- Oversee timely implementation of PR campaigns across clusters and regional business units.
- Evaluate effectiveness of PR programs in terms of impact and share-of-voice.
- Actively engage and partner with influencers (social or media practitioners) to build brand reputation.
Corporate CSR and Advocacy Programs
- Develop and implement CSR programs.
- Oversee the implementation of CSR programs.
- Lead other CSR programs/activities of the brand in coordination with Jollibee Group Foundation/RBUs.
Crisis Communication and Management
- Lead the development and implementation of timely and effective crisis communication and issues management plans.
- Oversee proper handling and resolution of external feedback/concerns that may impact brand image and reputation.
- Establish relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers for and on behalf of the company.
- Provide advice and coaching to operations teams and other departments during crisis situations, especially those with media threat.
Digital Marketing
- Oversee digital initiatives that amplify brand PR campaigns, strengthen brand love and foster engagement among target markets.
- Manage company's social assets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other new platforms) to build engagement and brand love.
- Spearhead digital marketing innovations in collaboration with other agencies to capitalize on new trends.
- Manage the digital community and build a sustained fan base of the brand.
- Develop new processes for the evolving digital landscape, including new technology, frameworks, internal infrastructures, etc.
Talent Development
- Supervise team members of the PR and Digital department and ensure quality of the team’s output.
- Provide direction, coaching and identify training opportunities for team members' professional growth and advancement.
PR Training and Development
- Provide periodic training on PR and crisis communication to key spokespersons and proper media handling for key operations personnel.
Job Specifications
- College degree in communication, journalism, public relations or integrated marketing communication.
- At least 8-10 years experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity in the related field.
- Technical competency in Public Relations, Marketing Communication, Digital Marketing/PR, Reputation Management, Events Management, Advanced writing and editing, Interpersonal and presentation skills, Media Relations, Crisis Communication, Strategic Campaign Development and Evaluation, Media Planning, Stakeholder Management.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of all areas in Brand and Corporate PR, crisis communication, feedback management and CSR program implementation.
