Job summary

Wilcon Depot, Inc. is seeking a Brand Associate in the Philippines to assist in end-to-end management of international brands from sourcing to sales performance monitoring.

You will support product development, supplier coordination, costings, and market competitiveness. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams for timely launches, maintaining product and supplier data, and supporting negotiations with local and overseas suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Business Administration degrees may be considered with relevant experience in technical products.
• 1-2 years of brand management, product sourcing, merchandising, or related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and sourcing new products and suppliers from international/local markets.
• Coordinate with suppliers for samples, quotations, and specs to ensure brand standards.
• Support costings, price comparisons, and landed cost calculations for management review.
• Monitor sales, inventory, and purchasing trends to advise replenishment or phase-out actions.
• Assist product development, including packaging, labeling, and branding alignment with marketing.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Marketing, and Logistics for timely launches and shipments.
• Maintain updated product and supplier databases and portfolios.
• Support Brand Manager in negotiations and supplier meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly performance reports including pricing updates and supplier feedback.

Job Summary:
The Brand Associate under the Global Sourcing Department is responsible for assisting in the end-to-end management of assigned international brands-from sourcing, product development, pricing, and supplier coordination to sales performance monitoring. The role ensures that product lines meet company standards for quality, cost efficiency, and market competitiveness, supporting the Brand Manager in achieving category and sourcing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and sourcing new products and suppliers from international and local markets in line with the company's product strategy.
• Coordinate with suppliers for product samples, quotations, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with brand standards and quality requirements.
• Support in the preparation and analysis of product costings, price comparisons, and landed cost computations for management review.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and purchasing trends of assigned brands to recommend replenishment or phase-out actions.
• Assist in the product development process, including packaging, labeling, and branding alignment with marketing guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Merchandising, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure timely product launches, shipments, and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain updated product and supplier databases, including product catalogues and brand portfolios.
• Support the Brand Manager in negotiations and supplier meetings, both local and overseas, when required.
• Ensure all product and supplier activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing monthly performance reports, including pricing updates, product movement, and supplier feedback.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical courses.
  • Graduates of Business Administration or related courses may be considered with relevant experience in technical products.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in brand management, product sourcing, merchandising, or related functions (experience in retail or importation is an advantage).
• Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing processes, import documentation, and supplier coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Working Conditions:
