Job summary

Southstar Drug is seeking a licensed pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions and to counsel patients on drug-related matters in our store in the Philippines. The pharmacist will coordinate with the Corporate Pharmacist and ensure all references are up to date.

S/he will maintain proper storage, remove bad stock, ensure medicines are in good condition, and may represent the store during FDA/PDEA inspections.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with valid license.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Willing to work shifting schedules and compressed work week (5 days on, 2 off).
• Willing to work holidays and weekends if needed.
• Relocation allowances provided for willing relocations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures validity and accuracy of prescription in dispensing medicines.
• Engages in patient counseling and queries on drug related matters.
• Coordinates with the Corporate Pharmacist.
• Ensures that all reference books are updated and available in the store.
• Ensures proper storage and pulls bad stocks from the medicine cabinet.
• Ensures medicines are in good condition.
• Represents the store during FDA/PDEA inspection.
• Updates store personnel on product awareness and new practices through training.
