Job description

• Responsible for operating heavy drilling equipment used to create deep foundation piles (bored piles) for buildings, bridges, and other structures. The role is critical in ensuring stable and safe foundations.
• Operate bored piling rigs (e.g., rotary drilling rigs such as Bauer, Soilmec, or Casagrande).
• Drill holes to specified depths and diameters based on engineering plans
• Read and follow construction drawings, bore logs, and site instructions.
• Ensure verticality and alignment of piles during drilling operations.
• Monitor soil conditions and report abnormalities to site engineers.
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and crane operators.
• Install temporary casings and assist in reinforcement cage placement.
• Maintain safety standards and follow proper operating procedures.
• Keep daily logs of operations, including depth, soil type, and issues encountered.
