Job summary

Vestas in the Philippines is seeking an electrical maintenance professional to enhance reliability of wind farm assets. You will perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on PSS, RMUs, switchgear, and BOP equipment, ensuring safe, compliant operation and coordinated actions with internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes proper documentation, daily reporting of PTW, grid availability, and spare inventory, while supervising subcontractors for timely, safe service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of Pooling Substations, RMUs and internal transmission lines.
• Ability to read electrical drawings for Grid and PSS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance on PSS, RMUs, switchgear, and BOP equipment.
• Ensure reliable operation and upkeep of substation and transmission assets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for maintenance activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain daily documentation including PTW, checklists, grid data, and inventory.
