Condor POS Solutions is looking for a Bookkeeper in Quezon City.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing the QuickBooks accounting system, verifying the correctness of bills and statements, and preparing various financial reports.
- Create, update, and manage the QuickBooks accounting system
- Verify the correctness of bills/statements received
- Prepare Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Reports
- Prepare payment schedules in Excel format and Accounting system
- Process and pay bills promptly after verification and approval
- Prepare monthly and quarterly BIR tax filings
- Support the external accountant by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries for financial statement preparation
- Record and process expenses, purchases, sales, and collections
- Record banking transactions, such as telegraphic transfers, online banking, and check preparation for approval
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Preferably 1-4 years of experience in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- Must have a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle bookkeeping: recording transactions, reconciling bank/accounts, accounts payable/receivable, ledger maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and have good oral and written communication skills (English and Filipino)
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of operating QuickBooks or any advanced accounting software
- Knowledge of BIR tax compliance is an advantage
- Familiar with BIR Receipts
- Possesses a good working attitude, is hardworking, and can withstand pressure
- Amenable to work in Quezon City
