Job summary

Rizal Provincial Government - Office of the Provincial General Services Officer (Electronics and Biomedical Division) seeks a skilled technician to maintain medical equipment across the hospital setting. The role involves repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance, with strict documentation of service history.

The successful candidate will train healthcare staff on proper equipment use, manage biomedical assets inventory, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or licensed Electronics Technician or NC II in Biomedical Equipment Technician.
• Preferably with experience in repair and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Preferably with knowledge of CCTV, IP PABX, FDAS, Nurse Call and Public Address/Paging System.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment;
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and equipment history;
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on Proper Equipment Use for End-User level;
• Biomedical assets inventory management technician level;
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and regulatory requirements;
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory and service tools;
• Assist in the maintenance of other electronics system of the hospital as directed.

Education/Eligibility/Training

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering OR licensed Electronics Technician OR has an NC II in Biomedical Equipment Technician

Preferably with education, training, or hands-on experience in repair and preventive maintenance of medical equipment;Preferably with knowledge on other hospital equipment such as CCTV, IP PABX, FDAS, Nurse Call and Public Address/Paging System;Must have a strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems;Must have an ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic results;Must be proficient in using test instruments and calibration tools; andMust be knowledgeable in using MS Office, Google Workspace or other application software.
