Job summary

SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, seeks a Biomedical Engineer to help calibrate how AI systems understand biomedical concepts in health and life-science contexts.

You will evaluate AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, provide structured feedback, and help shape standards for safe, compliant biomedical communications. 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering required; advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering required; advanced credentials preferred.
• 4+ years of professional biomedical engineering experience.
• Experience with AI data training or evaluating AI-generated content is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC standards and FDA design controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated biomedical content for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured feedback on errors, unsafe recommendations, and missing assumptions.
• Review prompts, model responses, and step-by-step solutions with correct unit handling.
• Assess model performance across biomechanics, sensors, medical devices, imaging, and risk.
