Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lighting and Electrical Technician in Pasig City, NCR, Philippines to develop and deliver high-quality lighting and electrical design documentation. The role collaborates with engineers and project teams to prepare AutoCAD drawings, SLDs, layouts and BIM outputs.

The candidate will coordinate across disciplines, maintain design documentation, and ensure compliance with drafting standards. A Diploma/Associate degree in relevant fields and 3+ years’ drafting experience are

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering Design Drafting or related discipline.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical and/or lighting drafting using AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit, MicroStation, Navisworks or 3D/BIM workflows.
• Experience with ProjectWise is highly desirable.
• Experience in infrastructure projects and lighting design documentation.
• Working knowledge of AGI32 lighting design software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of SLDs, layouts and details.
• Drafting experience in transport or road projects is essential.
• Strong communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, review, and deliver lighting and electrical design documentation in accordance with project, client, and company requirements.
• Prepare and update lighting layouts, lighting calculations, and associated design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce detailed electrical drawings including SLDs, cable routing layouts, earthing layouts, equipment layouts, cable trench layouts, and GA drawings.
• Develop and maintain lighting and electrical design documentation per standards.
• Coordinate electrical and lighting designs drawings with other disciplines using CAD and project data platforms.
• Prepare layouts, schematics, schedules, and design deliverables for lighting and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Revise and update engineering drawings from sketches, markups, inputs, and engineer comments.
• Perform drawing quality checks to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Assist engineers with production of detailed design packages and construction documentation.
• Support projects through accurate drafting, coordination and design development.
