Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and maintain federated 3D BIM models across civil, structural, MEP and tunnel disciplines. You will perform clash detection, coordinate resolutions, and report findings to the discipline lead while ensuring ISO 19650 compliance and CDE management.

Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of BIM experience; strong English skills and ANZ-aligned collaboration will be essential for project delivery and tender contributions.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of BIM modelling experience on infrastructure or building projects.
• Working competence in ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Demonstrated experience with federated models and clash detection workflows.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture or digital engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English; capacity to operate within ANZ business hours overlap.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain federated 3D BIM models across disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate clash resolution.
• Extract quantity take-offs and manage CDE in line with ISO 19650.
• Contribute to project controls, schedules and cost narratives.
• Prepare monthly project performance reports and dashboards.
• Support tender and bid documentation and compliance.
