Position: BARTENDER
I. OVERVIEW, ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES, REQUIREMENTS
The position reports directly to the Branch Head of the Company. This position is expected to observe the policies and procedures, security measures, and work guidelines, as well as lawful directions given by TSI's management and persons in authority.
This position will be responsible for the daily operations of the bar area. Typical duties include providing an excellent guest drinking experience and ensuring efficiency in the bar area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present bar menu.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- In charge of beverage inventory.
- Assist in preparing and cleaning tables and counters after guests have finished dining.
- Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses and pour the wines for customers.
- Describe and recommend wines to customers.
- Make sure that customer satisfaction is met.
- Inform customers of daily specials and promos.
- Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
- Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
- Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Ensures uniform is clean, ironed, and complete (caps, name plate, etc.) and properly worn at all times while on duty.
- Other tasks that may be assigned by the Management.

- The normal working week can exceed 48 hours. During peak periods such as Christmas, special dinners, celebrations, events, and other seasonal activities, managers may work more than 48 hours.
