Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott South Bend Downtown is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver a warm breakfast, bistro, or grab-and-go experience aligned with brand standards. You will greet guests, prepare items, and operate the POS with accuracy.

This role emphasizes teamwork, cleanliness, and guest service, with early mornings, weekends, and holidays required. Competitive hourly rate and employee discounts available.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, barista, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic food prep and safe food handling knowledge (ServSafe a plus).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Prepare and serve breakfast items, specialty coffee, and menu offerings.
• Operate POS and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and prep areas to health department standards.
• Stock and replenish food, supplies, utensils, and grab-and-go items.
• Set up, break down, and clean equipment; assist with opening and closing duties.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to guests.
• Support other hotel needs to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Follow uniform, appearance, and service standards.
