Job summary

A staffing service provider in Metro Manila is looking for warehouse staff to manage inventory, including barcoding items and maintaining a clean workspace. Ideal candidates are high school graduates with good physical fitness and responsibility. Experience in barcoding is a plus and willingness to work on extended hours is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow company rules and report incidents in the warehouse.
• Elevate items using pallets.
• Attach barcode and ICC stickers to items.
• Attach ICC stickers to items where required.
• Ensure labels and barcodes are correct.
• Check label details such as STR NUMBER, DATE, COMPANY NAME, BRAND, BRANCH, CARTON NUMBER/BOX NUMBER before labeling.
• Maintain housekeeping in the working area.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follows the Rules and Regulations of the Company and the Standard Operating Procedures of Warehouse Division and reports any untoward incidents happened inside the warehouse
• Responsible to elevate properly items using elevated pallet or five plastic pallets if elevated pallets are not available
• Responsible to attach correctly the barcode sticker to the items for concession and outright customers and other items that required barcode and/or labels
• Responsible to attach ICC stickers to the items that required for ICC.
• Assures that labels and barcode of items are correct.
• Checks label details such as listed below upon requisition from the Barcoding Staff and before placing the label on the item
  1. STR NUMBER
  2. DATE
  3. COMPANY NAME
  4. BRAND
  5. BRANCH
  6. CARTON NUMBER/BOX NUMBER
• Responsible for housekeeping for their working area
• Perform another task instructed by superior.

Qualifications

• With experience in barcoding is a plus
• Willing to work on extended hours
