Job summary

CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. is seeking an experienced IT Security professional to support the bank's information security program. You will validate systems against security baselines, perform SAT, manage patch validation, and coordinate with IT teams to close compliance gaps.

The role requires strong knowledge of security concepts across networks, systems, databases, and user access, plus familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, ITIL and COBIT frameworks. Certifications like CISSP/CISM are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT with at least 1 year in IT security.
• Knowledge of security concepts related to networks, systems, servers, databases and user access.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
• CISSP, CISM or other security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validates systems and applications against minimum baseline security standards prior to deployment.
• Conducts Security Acceptance Testing (SAT) for changes to ensure security compliance.
• Executes IT Security Operations processes per policy.
• Reviews access levels for core banking systems, networks, databases to ensure proper access.
• Supports patch management validation and endpoint hardening verification.
• Maintains and updates security baseline documentation as directed by the Information Security Office.
• Prepares security compliance reports for management, auditors and regulators.
• Coordinates with Infrastructure and Application Development teams to remediate compliance gaps.
• Analyzes security posture with cross-functional teams to identify risks or improvements.
• Participates in investigation and post-incident reviews of security breaches.
