Job summary

Kooapps is seeking an entry-level backend-focused developer to join a six-month paid training program in Makati. You will build and maintain robust APIs, ensure server stability, and create internal tools to streamline team operations.

The role involves collaboration with design, art, QA, PM, and data teams to deliver high-quality games with strong backend support. The ideal candidate has a mix of PHP, MySQL/NoSQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, plus a willingness to learn Unity3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL/NoSQL, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with C#, C/C++, Javascript/Typescript.
• Willingness to work in Makati and Monday to Saturday.
• Familiarity with Unity3D, iOS/Android development a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend APIs interfacing with databases.
• Ensure server stability and performance of infrastructure.
• Develop internal tools to support team operations.
• Collaborate with Game Design, Art, QA, PM and Data teams to ship games with polish, backend focused.
• Occasionally contribute to website development tasks.
