Job summary

Questronix Corporation 2 is seeking a backend software engineer to contribute across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, testers, and SMEs to deliver robust features. The role emphasizes coding, reviews, and maintaining coding standards with a focus on test coverage.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in backend development, proficiency in NodeJS, REST APIs, and design patterns, and experience with Agile Scrum. Banking domain knowledge and AWS Serverless are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of working experience with backend development.
• Experience writing unit tests.
• Knowledge with building CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Experience with AWS Serverless.
• Working knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns.
• Understanding of SOLID design principles.
• Working knowledge in one or more programming languages, primarily NodeJS.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Working experience with Git flows and different branching strategies.
• Clean Code Architecture and banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with fellow engineers for code review.
• Contribute to all stages of development including designing, coding, reviewing, and testing.
• Collaborate with Lead Software Engineers, Testers, and SMEs to ensure product is delivered.
• Enhance, and improve coding practices.
• Ensure software engineering standards are in place such as unit test code coverage.
• Documents system components.
• Create, and maintain product features.
