Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in application or production support
• Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience supporting distributed systems
• Experience working with Azure, GCP/UDP, BigQuery, and Databricks
• Strong RDBMS experience with MS SQL and DB2
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team
• Willing to work in a 24×7 support structure (on-call, weekends, holidays as needed)
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, support-oriented environments with shifting priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end support for backend systems, APIs, and integrations built using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and cloud-native components
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, perform minor enhancements, and implement permanent fixes
• Support cloud-hosted solutions using Azure, GCP/UDP, BigQuery, and Databricks
• Work with relational databases including MS SQL and DB2
• Maintain documentation and proactively update the knowledge base
• Monitor incidents and ensure SLA compliance, escalating issues when required
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for complex incident resolution
• Execute ad hoc tasks, health checks, and proactive monitoring activities
• Conduct root-cause analysis and actively participate in continuous-improvement efforts
• Provide consultation on escalation matrices, issue handling, and process changes
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders using email, chat, or conference calls
• Assist in testing, design, and implementation activities based on business needs
• Take on functional tasks, and potentially oversee a functional area or participate in projects as a Designer, Tester, or Implementer
• Adapt to changing priorities and support requests as needed
