Job summary

The Apex Group in Makati is seeking a Mid-level Backend Engineer with strong .NET Core (LTS) and C# skills to design and optimize data-driven backends. You will contribute to API development, data workflows, and high-performance systems in an agile environment.

You'll work closely with engineers, testers, and stakeholders, participate in sprint ceremonies, and apply clean coding practices while learning queueing/messaging and cloud tools. This role offers growth in a global fintech group.

Qualifications

• Experience in .NET Core backend services in production.
• Proficient in C#, Dapper, and SQL
• Experience with xUnit or NUnit for testing
• Familiar with queueing/messaging systems
• Experience with Scrum or Kanban
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance .NET Core backend services in production
• Design data-heavy workflows with C#, Dapper, SQL
• Develop APIs prioritising performance, data integrity, security
• Work with queueing/messaging technologies
• Write unit tests and improve code quality
• Participate in refinement sessions, code reviews, sprints
• Apply clean coding practices and incremental improvements
• Collaborate with engineers, testers, stakeholders in Agile
