Job summary

PRO-SOLUTIONS TECHNOLOGIES CO is seeking a Server-Side Developer to build and maintain backend services for web applications. You will design scalable architectures, implement secure APIs, and ensure efficient data management.

Responsibilities include API integration, performance tuning and close collaboration with front-end and DevOps teams in an onsite Malolos setup. Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and modern backend frameworks is preferred.

• Develop, optimize and maintain server-side logic for web applications
• Design and implement scalable, secure and high-performance backend architecture
• Ensure seamless communication between backend systems and front-end applications through well-designed APIs and services
• Design, manage and optimize databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or other relevant databases technologies)
• Ensure data integrity, security and efficient retrieval
• Develop database schemas, indexes and queries for performance optimization
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for front-end communication
• Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed
• Ensure API security and access control through authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Optimize backend performance for speed and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server performance, database queries and security vulnerabilities
• Implement caching strategies and load balancing where necessary
• Implement best security practices, including encryption, authentication and secure coding standards
• Protect against common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS and CSRF
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless functionality
• Collaborate with the DevOps team for smooth deployment, CI/CD and infrastructure management
• Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning and code reviews
• Maintain clear documentation for APIs, database and backend logic
• Report progress, issues and updates to the Development Team
