Job summary

GECO Philippines, a subsidiary of GECO Asia Group, is hiring an Azure Cloud and Linux Architect to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud and Linux platforms across hybrid environments. The role provides technical leadership for cloud transformation, security, and DR.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions using Azure services, RHEL/Ubuntu/Rocky/SLES, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in Linux administration and architecture.
• Proven experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Strong experience designing and managing enterprise-scale hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Experience supporting and architecting large-scale production environments.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure cloud architecture and governance across hybrid environments.
• Design and implement enterprise Azure architectures aligned with security standards.
• Drive cloud migrations and modernization initiatives from on-premises to Azure.
• Develop Azure landing zones, governance, and cost-optimization.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture reviews; mentor engineers.
