Job summary

Tech Mahindra Philippines is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on Microsoft Azure, supporting global customers. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to translate data needs into high-quality solutions, optimize pipelines for performance and reliability, ensure data quality, and maintain documentation.

This is a 1-year contract with hybrid work in Makati City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of Data Engineer or similar ETL experience.
• Proficiency in SQL DML and querying modern RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of CI/CD, version control and testing in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL using Azure services.
• Organize data using Azure storage (Data Lake Gen2, Blob).
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to meet data needs.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity with validation techniques and frameworks.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and configurations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies for data solutions.
• Manage the CI/CD process for deploying and maintaining data solutions.
