Outstaffer.AI is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team for a healthcare industry client. Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines, ensuring secure, compliant data solutions for analytics and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and data governance using Purview, plus familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and Data Factory in regulated healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Azure Databricks and Spark development/production.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview for governance, cataloging, and compliance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric for modern analytics and integration.
• Proficiency in Python (PySpark) and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics and Data Factory.
• Understanding of healthcare data standards and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark.
• Write efficient PySpark and SQL code for large-scale data processing.
• Architect and maintain data lakehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement data governance, cataloging, lineage, and compliance with Purview.
• Build and optimize ETL workflows across Azure services.
• Ensure data quality, security, privacy, and integrity per healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US time zone.
• Maintain Git and CI/CD for data engineering workflows.
• Produce clear technical documentation (requirements, design, testing, implementation).
