Job summary

IBM Consulting in the Philippines is seeking a Data Engineer specializing in data platforms on AWS. You will advise on, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data layers across batch and real-time processes within the AWS ecosystem.

You'll work with AWS services such as EMR, Glue, Kinesis, RedShift, and DynamoDB, contributing to data warehouse and data lake initiatives while leveraging open source tools like Apache Airflow and dbt to deliver reliable data engineering solutions.

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating batch and real-time data pipelines on AWS.
Proficiency with AWS services including EMR, Glue, Kinesis, and data migration with DMS.
Experience creating data layers using RedShift, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
Familiarity with open source tools like Airflow and dbt to support data engineering.
Ability to schedule and manage data services on AWS for integrated solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate batch and real-time data pipelines on AWS.
Create data layers on RedShift, Aurora, and DynamoDB and migrate data with DMS.
Develop pipelines for Data Warehouse and Data Lake using Kinesis and Kafka.
Manage data services on AWS to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Apply open source technologies such as Airflow and dbt to support data engineering solutions.
