Job summary

Crawford and Company in Manila seeks an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and document cloud infrastructure. You will manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, OpenSearch) and ensure security, efficiency, and reliability across projects.

You will automate deployments, collaborate with teams, and contribute to disaster recovery planning while maintaining thorough documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps.
• Strong AWS security knowledge (IAM, SGs, VPC).
• Containerization experience: Docker; AWS ECS/EKS.
• Scripting skills: Python/Bash.
• Experience with monitoring and HIPAA/SOC2 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to meet requirements.
• Optimize resources for cost-efficiency and monitor utilization.
• Develop and maintain AWS components (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, OpenSearch, Terraform).
• Automate deployment and configuration with Azure DevOps, CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Ensure security of AWS resources (IAM, security groups, VPC).
• Monitor, troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and data backups.
• Create documentation for procedures and diagrams.
