Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an Application Developer: AWS Cloud FullStack to design and build cloud-native applications in a hybrid setting. You’ll craft scalable frontend and backend solutions using ReactJS/Angular, Java/NodeJS/Python, and AWS services, guided by Agile processes and DevSecOps practices.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IT degree and hands-on AWS Cloud Development experience, GoLang proficiency, Terraform, and ECS/Kafka expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or a related field.
Experience in AWS Cloud Development.
Proficiency in GoLang programming.
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infra automation.
Experience with Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service).
Knowledge of Kafka for event-driven/messaging solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop Rich UI Applications using SPA or microfrontends with ReactJS or Angular.
Develop scalable backend microservices based on 12-factor principles via API and events.
Implement cloud-native CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
Run and manage AWS services including PaaS, content delivery, databases, and observability tools.
Apply DevSecOps practices using AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline/CodeCommit.
