Job summary

Synpulse Philippines Inc. is expanding its core-banking technology team in Manila. We seek developers experienced with Avaloq, software development, analysis, solution design, and testing to deliver end-to-end banking projects using modern tools.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure deliverables meet estimates and quality, and contribute to project lifecycle from proposal through delivery, while supporting team growth and process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Avaloq working experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases and web tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Avaloq-based solutions with alignment to guidelines.
• Develop, analyze, design, and test core banking functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose functionality.
• Ensure deliverables stay within effort estimates and quality standards.
• Support team members and contribute to process improvements.

The Job Are you excited about transforming the way we bank by using the latest technology? We are too!

We are building-up our core-banking technology team, adopting the latest tech, modern tools and new ways of working to implement Avaloq core banking projects. Software development, analysis, solution design, and testing. Implementation of new and maintenance of existing functionality.

Delivery of complex solutions. Development based on guidelines and standards. Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality.

Ensure that deliverables are within the work effort estimate, cost and with quality. Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle. Work closely with team members.

Support team members with other project activities. Support Synpulse growth in software development through initiatives, tools, development and process improvement. Support project proposals and initiatives.

Support the success of a work stream by ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission. Job Requirements About you:

At least 2 years of Avaloq working experience Degree holder in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Advanced knowledge of at least one higher programming language and object-oriented concepts

Advanced knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, PL/SQL) Experience with web-oriented technologies is an advantage (JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS) Experience with Angular JS is an advantage

Analytical, structured, and efficient way of working Interested in banking and financial industry Can fluently speak and write in English
