Trend Micro is seeking passionate security researchers to advance automotive cybersecurity. You will conduct vulnerability research on automotive OS like QNX/Android Automotive, perform threat intelligence, and engage in bug bounty reporting and CVE publication.

Ideal candidates have Linux proficiency, CS/CE degrees, and hands-on pentesting or CTF experience. Trend Micro emphasizes responsible disclosure and sharing findings with the broader community as part of a global security mission.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Certification is not required, but OSCP, CRTP, OSWE, SANS certs and related labs are a plus.
• Linux proficiency and any programming language knowledge.
• Experience reporting vulnerabilities to bug bounty programs.
• CTF competition participation is a plus.
• Penetration testing experience is a plus.
• CVE publishing experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Conduct vulnerability research on automotive OS such as QNX, AGL, Android Automotive.
• Perform automotive threat intelligence analysis.
• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing in automotive.
• Publish CVEs and contribute to the automotive cybersecurity community.
• Speak at security and automotive conferences.
• Publish blogs or papers on automotive cybersecurity topics.
• Research RF vulnerabilities.
