Job summary

Facilities Managers Inc is seeking an on-site Forklift Technician in Muntinlupa with 1–2 years of forklift maintenance experience. Graduate of automotive or heavy equipment technology preferred; TESDA NC II is a plus.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, conduct inspections, and ensure safe operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing various systems, maintaining records, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of automotive or heavy equipment technology with relevant vocational training.
• TESDA Automotive Servicing NC II or Heavy Equipment Servicing NC II is an advantage.
• At least 1–2 years of forklift maintenance and repair experience.
• Knowledge of diesel, gasoline, and LPG forklifts.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, service diagrams, and parts catalogs.
• Willing to work overtime, shifting schedules, and field assignments when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts according to the maintenance schedule.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, steering, and brake system issues.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify defects and recommend necessary repairs.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged components, including engines, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, forks, masts, and tires.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify equipment faults.
• Perform engine tune-ups, oil changes, filter replacements, and battery maintenance.
• Test forklifts after repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and job orders accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure proper use and care of tools and equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSH standards.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site repairs when necessary.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding equipment status and maintenance requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of diesel, gasoline, and LPG-powered forklifts.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime, shifting schedules, and field assignments when required.
