Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in automotive or mechanical engineering preferred.

• Strong understanding of automotive systems and QC methodologies.

• Analytical/problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Good communication and teamwork to report findings and coordinate with others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and components after repair to ensure quality standards; document defects for corrective action.
• Perform functional tests on vehicles and components using diagnostic tools to assess performance and safety.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and QC processes; prepare reports on quality metrics and trends.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies; stay updated on standards.
• Provide training on QC procedures and best practices to staff.
• Investigate quality issues to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
• Evaluate and monitor quality of supplier parts; collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and improve quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance overall product quality.
