Job summary

MGCP Auto Repair Shop Corp. in Quezon City is seeking an Automotive Aircon Technician with 1–2 years of experience to inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive air-conditioning systems, perform cleaning, refrigerant charging, leak testing, and preventive maintenance.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, identify defective parts, follow safety procedures, and work closely with the Service Advisor to complete jobs on time.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as Automotive Aircon Technician or related role.
• Experience in automotive air-conditioning repair and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of aircon components, refrigerant systems, electrical controls, and basic diagnostics.

About the role

Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive air-conditioning systems. Perform aircon cleaning, refrigerant charging, leak detection, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of air-conditioning systems.

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive air-conditioning systems

• Perform aircon cleaning, refrigerant charging, leak detection, and preventive maintenance

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of air-conditioning systems

• Conduct testing to ensure proper cooling performance and system functionality

• Identify defective parts and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements

• Maintain cleanliness, proper handling, and care of tools and equipment

• Follow standard repair procedures, safety protocols, and company policies

• Coordinate with the Service Advisor and other technicians regarding repair findings and job status

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned work orders

About you

• At least 1–2 years of experience as an Automotive Aircon Technician or related position

• Experience in automotive air-conditioning repair and troubleshooting

• Knowledgeable in aircon components, refrigerant systems, electrical controls, and basic automotive diagnostics

• Able to use automotive aircon diagnostic and service equipment

• Can perform aircon cleaning, refrigerant recovery/charging, leak testing, and basic electrical troubleshooting

• Capable of performing hands-on automotive work

• Responsible, hardworking, and detail-oriented

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• NC II certification in Automotive Servicing or related certification is an advantage
