You will work with customers, explain issues, and ensure quality repairs, with opportunities to handle aftermarket accessories and engine management tasks.

Qualifications

• Formal training or apprenticeship in auto-electrical technology.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Certified to handle high-voltage systems where required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis: Use digital diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and laptops to test and locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
• System Repairs: Dismantle, repair, or replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, and voltage regulators.
• Wiring & Components: Install, repair, and replace damaged wiring, fuses, lamps, and switches.
• Accessories Integration: Connect aftermarket or power-operated accessories such as alarm systems and air conditioning units.
• Engine Management: Adjust and calibrate engine control systems and computerized vehicle computers.
• Customer Interaction: Explain repairs clearly and process service reports.
