Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician.
• Automotive Servicing NCII Certification or an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology.
• Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and inspections
• Conduct test drives and post-repair tests to ensure safety standards
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, filter changes, and tune-ups
• Overhaul truck engines
• Maintain facility cleanliness in motor-pool area
• Warm up generators and monitor water pumps
• Coordinate with external services for repairs
• Coordinate with supervisors and operations on repair timelines
