GAC AION PHILIPPINES is seeking a skilled Automotive Tinsmith (Latero) to repair, restore, fabricate and replace damaged body panels and structural components, ensuring work meets manufacturer and company standards. The role includes welding, dent removal, panel beating and alignment, with safe vehicle movement within the dealership and workshop.

The ideal candidate has automotive technology training or TESDA NC II and at least 2 years of tinsmith/body repair experience, plus knowledge of

Formación

• Graduate of Automotive Technology or TESDA Automotive Servicing NC II.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive body repair or tinsmith work.
• Knowledge of vehicle body structures, sheet metal repair, welding and fabrication.
• Familiar with body repair tools and measuring instruments.
• Physically fit for manual and technical tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect damaged vehicles to determine body repair requirements.
• Perform dent removal, panel beating and metal shaping.
• Repair, replace and fabricate damaged body panels and structural components.
• Weld, cut, grind and finish metal as needed.
• Align vehicles' body structures and frames using proper equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble body parts and trims.
• Coordinate with painters and technicians for proper finishing.
• Conduct quality checks and final inspections after repairs.
• Safely operate and drive vehicles within premises; road test when required.
• Document repair orders and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
