Job summary

A leading technology company in Manila seeks a skilled Automation Tester with at least 5 years of experience in Automation testing, proficient in both Postman and Python. The role involves maintaining high-quality standards, coordinating release cycles, and performing continuous monitoring to ensure system health. Candidates must be amenable to a hybrid work setup in BGC/Mandaluyong and willing to work day/midshift hours. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Automation testing.
• Strong exposure in Postman and Python (scripting from scratch).
• Amenable to work on a dayshift/midshift (3pm-12mn) and good to attend an interview on a nightshift.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining high-quality standards for both backend and frontend.
• Coordinate release cycles while ensuring alignment between development and product teams.
• Perform continuous production monitoring to maintain system health and reliability.
• Enforce adherence to established development processes and best practices.
• Develop thorough and well-organized test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Measure and evaluate QA performance using metrics such as defect density and defect backlog.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects effectively with development teams.
• Investigate and resolve issues by analyzing logs, traces, and system behavior.
