Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an Automation Anywhere Engineer to modernize end-user platforms and establish a robust Governance Framework for Automation and AI. You will coordinate internal teams and vendors to deliver scalable, secure AIOps solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities include leading development frameworks, acting as technical lead, and implementing AI strategies with GenAI tools and Azure services to enhance incident resolution and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in automation engineering or related roles.
• Proven experience in vendor management and working with Outsourcing/Managed Services providers.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2+ level) and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with governance, security standards, and enterprise architecture in large environments.

We are looking for an Automation Anywhere Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the modernization of end-user support platforms by executing a robust Governance Framework for Automation and AI. You will coordinate and direct internal teams and select vendors to deliver scalable, secure AIOps solutions, aligning with enterprise architecture and eliminating technical silos.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce development frameworks and governance standards for Automation Anywhere, including agentic automation and AI solutions, while ensuring third-party compliance with quality and security standards
• Act as technical lead and manager for internal teams, overseeing deliverables, validating architectures, and ensuring SLA compliance
• Develop and implement AI strategies by leveraging GenAI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and AEX, along with Azure services, to optimize incident resolution and improve operational efficiency
• Analyze business needs and select optimal automation paths across RPA, scripting, and AI for each requirement, preventing tool redundancy
• Execute proofs of concept (PoCs) and intervene in technical projects to ensure viability and success for medium to high complexity initiatives
• Audit, consolidate, and centralize fragmented automation efforts into a well-documented and robust ecosystem

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role
• At least 2 full-cycle project participation experiences, or participation in several projects covering different phases of the development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in Automation Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or IT Technical Consulting within enterprise environments
• Proven experience in vendor management, overseeing Outsourcing and Managed Services technology providers
• Strong organizational leadership skills, including managing direct reports, guiding internal teams, and collaborating with vendors
• Automation Anywhere advanced developer certification, which must include agentic automation
• Demonstrated AI experience and enablement, with flexibility regarding specific technologies
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards, information security, and technical governance
• Proven communication abilities with global and cross-functional teams
• Excellent English communication skills at a B2+ level, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
