Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks an AutoCAD Engineer to produce detailed 2D layouts and 3D models, ensuring compliance with ASME/ISO and internal standards. You will collaborate with manufacturing and field engineers to translate design concepts into fabrication-ready drawings.

The role requires strong AutoCAD proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and a meticulous eye for dimensions, tolerances, and document control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma in engineering or drafting.
• AutoCAD Certified Professional or Certified User credential.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency including layers, blocks, external references (Xrefs), sheet sets, GD&T, and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing limits, and fabrication workflows.
• Geometric reasoning and spatial analysis for accurate dimensions and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed 2D layouts, structural blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics with precise dimensions, materials, tolerances, and structural notes
• Developing 3D digital models of components, products, or buildings to analyze spatial constraints and check for interference
• Modifying existing drawings based on engineering changes, client feedback, or production constraints to stay up-to-date
• Ensuring all blueprints comply with company guidelines and industry regulations (ASME, ISO, local codes)
• Collaborating with manufacturing teams to explain design intents and optimize designs for fabrication
