Job Description

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle electrical systems, focusing on air conditioning units.
• Perform installation and maintenance of vehicle A/C systems and components.
• Repair and replace defective wiring, switches, relays, fuses, sensors, and other electrical parts.
• Conduct performance tests on vehicle A/C systems and recharge refrigerant as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safety practices are followed during repair activities.
• Read and interpret electrical and aircon schematics and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to support comprehensive vehicle servicing.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
• Recommend necessary parts replacement and preventive measures to avoid future malfunctions.

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Preferably with TESDA NC II or higher certification in Automotive Servicing or Auto Electrical Servicing.
• Training or certification in Automotive Air Conditioning is a strong advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto electrician or vehicle aircon technician.
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing A/C systems and electrical wiring of vehicles.
• Familiarity with both light and heavy vehicles is a plus.
• Good understanding of automotive electrical systems, A/C systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Physically fit and capable of handling tools and equipment.
• Can work independently or with minimal supervision.
