Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician who delivers an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and quality repair to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold our brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or apprenticeship, ability to read job orders, use a range of shop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates; use tools to repair sections.
• Hammer dents, apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles post-repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
