Job summary

Tojo Motors Corp. is hiring an automotive technician in Laguna to inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, and safety issues, diagnose problems with testing equipment, and repair or replace faulty parts.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, test drive after repairs, and maintain accurate service records. Applicants should hold an NCII Certificate in Automotive, have hands-on experience, knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques, and be able to use hand and power tools safely.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical and safety issues
• Diagnose problem using testing equipment and diagnose tools
• Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, brakes, transmission, suspensions, steering, and exhaust systems.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter equipment, tire rotation and fluid checks.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure problem have been resolved.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and maintenance performed.
• Keep work area clean and follow workplace procedures.
• Recommend necessary repairs and maintenance to supervisors or customers.

Qualifications:

• NCII Certificate in Automotive
• With Experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician is an advantage
• Knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem solving and and trouble shooting skills
• Physically fit ab able to lift heavy vehicle parts
• Willingness to work overtime or respond to emergency repairs when needed.
