What You'll Do
Lead High-Impact Audit Engagements
- Lead risk-based audits across domestic and international operations within established timelines.
- Evaluate internal controls, financial processes, operational effectiveness, compliance, and technology-related risks.
- Assess the adequacy of controls that protect organizational assets, data, and resources.
- Conduct reviews of new systems, business processes, and areas of emerging risk.
Drive Audit Innovation and Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate audit procedures.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to evaluate cybersecurity, governance, AI, and technology risks.
- Recommend practical, cost-effective solutions that strengthen controls and support organizational objectives.
Partner with Leaders Across the Organization
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across headquarters, shared services, and country offices.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support process owners in implementing corrective actions and improving risk management practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Stay Ahead of Emerging Risks
- Keep current on developments in auditing, accounting, compliance, technology, cybersecurity, and nonprofit operations.
- Research industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to enhance audit quality and insight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Licensed CPA is required.
- 8–10+ years of external audit experience, with a proven track record of leading complex engagements and managing high-performing audit teams.
- Deep expertise in risk-based auditing, internal controls, financial auditing, and operational reviews.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time.
