Job summary

HRTX in Makati is seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join their auditing team. The role involves collaborating with audit seniors, preparing documentation, and evaluating accounting standards while maintaining close client relationships.

With at least 2 years of experience in external audit, the ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. This position offers a hybrid work model: three days onsite and two days work from home.

Job description

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, 3 days onsite, 2 days wfh

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit seniors and managers in planning engagements, including budgeting, staffing, and scheduling of audit work.
• Prepare audit documentation support such as sampling selections, checklists, and reconciliation of audit confirmations to working papers.
• Assist in evaluating the impact of relevant accounting and auditing standards, and maintain updated IFRS checklists for each audit cycle.
• Perform analytical reviews, variance analysis, and validation of financial data, escalating issues or discrepancies to seniors as needed.
• Support audit execution by guiding junior staff, coordinating client information requests, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2 years of experience in external audit within a public accounting firm.
• Exposure to progressively complex audit and accounting tasks across engagements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective client and team relationships.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Able to accurately follow and execute instructions while maintaining high attention to detail and reliability.
