Job Description
This role focuses on conducting assurance and advisory procedures, working closely with clients, projects and staff. Responsibilities include research, planning, delivering risk advisory services, detailed audit procedures, client contact, data analysis and liaising with third parties. The position includes significant learning and development focus while supporting senior members of the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various risk advisory engagements (e.g., internal audit, consulting, compliance) across multiple industries simultaneously.
- Work with clients at various levels in diverse business environments.
- Perform technical and operational reviews for clients with differing risk profiles.
- Maintain and complete engagement files (electronic working papers) timely for senior consultant/manager review.
- Summarise key areas of engagement for the senior consultant/manager.
- Identify potential issues and document issues and proposed recommendations for senior consultant/manager attention.
- Draft engagement reports in conjunction with senior consultant/manager providing practical and commercial business advice.
- Identify and refer ethical and conflict issues to manager/partner.
- Develop a detailed understanding of client systems, processes and internal control environment.
- Develop a working knowledge of fundamental electronic audit tools.
- Complete allocated tasks in accordance with directions given.
Education Requirements
- Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification.
