Job summary

The role emphasizes accuracy, research, planning, problem solving, and collaboration across teams to safeguard company assets. You will monitor adherence to internal control procedures, identify discrepancies, and prepare clear reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field preferred but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in internal control or risk management is advantageous.
• Strong research, planning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and math skills.
• Excellent presentation, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office is expected.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports and documentation.
• Identify, investigate, reconcile and correct records using available resources.
• Review stock ageing, item categories and branch classification as needed.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported.
• Recommend improvements to internal control systems.
• Conduct audit follow-ups.
• Record, review, and interpret data to determine operational effectiveness.
• Research discrepancies, operational problems, or other issues.
• Examine records, reports, receipts, or other documents and compare to assets and liabilities.
• Highlight strengths and weaknesses to management and provide actionable fixes.
• Generate reports and present findings to management or other interested parties.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
