• An Audit Associate is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights into financial operations. Key duties typically include:
• Assisting in Audit Planning: Collaborating with senior auditors to develop audit plans, including scope, timelines, and objectives.
• Conducting Financial Audits: Reviewing financial statements, records, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Testing Internal Controls: Performing tests on accounting systems and processes to evaluate their effectiveness and identify any weaknesses.
