Job summary

Twoconnect Careers is seeking a Financial Accountant in the Philippines to support month-end accounting, statutory reporting, payroll assistance, and general finance activities. You will manage balance sheet accounts, ensure ledger integrity, and assist with reporting, audits, and payroll for Australian and US operations.

The role requires 3–5+ years' experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, and CPA/CA or equivalent (or working towards).

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification (or currently working towards completion).
• Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Exposure to NetSuite and/or Power BI will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end accounting activities, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Take ownership of allocated asset and liability accounts, including bank and cash, prepayments, fixed assets, creditors, and accruals.
• Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and on time, identifying and resolving any variances promptly.
• Prepare expense analysis and support management reporting requirements.
• Support the integrity and accuracy of financial data within the general ledger.
• Assist with quarterly, half-year, and year-end reporting requirements, including support for NASDAQ and ASIC listed reporting obligations and external audits.
• Provide payroll support across both Australian and US operations, including full payroll processing during periods of leave coverage.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of finance activities and reporting deadlines.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, and finance-related projects.
• Provide general support across the Finance team as required.

Position Overview
