Three Peaks International is a Sydney based staffing solutions partner which provides local and virtual staffing solutions to Australian businesses through outsourcing, recruitment, and migration.

We are seeking a competent and analytical Bookkeeper with extensive background in AP/ AR Management. The successful candidate would have an opportunity to work in one of established construction and consultancy firm based in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry with required account allocations of business transactions to computer accounting system, generally Xero and often using Receipt Bank Software
  • Prepare invoices, billing payments or schedule of payments as required.
  • Reconcile accounts, both Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Produce monthly financial, accounts receivable and payable reports and forecasts.
  • Prepare BAS and IAS returns and their corresponding workpapers.
  • Perform other accounting duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with Australian Chartered firm or commercial.
  • Proficient with XERO, QBO, and MYOB.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience in balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss determination.
  • Proven ability to code client accounts weekly, including payroll and superannuation processing.
  • Ability to prepare and lodge BAS and IAS independently.
  • Capability to prepare financials for review by senior accountants.
