Job summary

Viventis Search Asia is seeking a Regulatory Research Analyst in Makati for a 6‑month fixed-term contract with hybrid work (2 days WFH, 3 days onsite). The role involves researching regulatory and technical requirements for consumer products and preparing reports and protocols.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, with experience in chemical analysis (GC-MS/ICP techniques) and solid lab skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Chemical Engineering or BS Chemistry.
• Experience in chemical analysis or interpretation of laboratory test results, particularly in heavy metals and phthalates testing using GC‑MS, ICP‑OES, ICP‑MS, or similar techniques.
• Proficient in basic laboratory skills and equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, researches, gathers data, develops preliminary findings, and prepares written reports related to consumer product regulatory and technical requirements.
• Prepares technical reports, product test protocols, regulatory newsletters, training aids, and other work derivatives as assigned.
• Contributes to team operational workflow development and implementation, as well as tracking KPIs to monitor productivity and effectiveness.
• Updates databases containing information related to product requirements and testing procedures.
• Contributes to research and protocol creation and maintenance for consumer product categories and improves research processes.
• Supports department communications and collaborates with client staff to respond to inquiries, newsletters, announcements, and publications.
• Communicates with global regulatory and standards bodies to obtain regulations not available through online research and clarifies standards for technical inquiries.
• Monitors productivity and quality of research to contribute to KPIs by providing technical advice and training.
• May assist in the development and implementation of special projects.
• Reads and follows client Code of Conduct and security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed

Location: Paseo de Roxas, Makati City (Hybrid Work - 2 days wfh, 3 days onsite / per week)
Fixed Term Contract: 6 months (contract renewal will depend on the business needs or performance)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / 9am to 6pm

Job Function:

• Prepares technical reports, product test protocols, regulatory newsletters, training aids, and other work derivatives as assigned.
• Contributes to team operational workflow development and implementation, as well as tracking key performance indicators to monitor productivity and effectiveness.
• Updates various databases containing information related to product requirements and testing procedures.
• Contributes to research and protocol creation and maintenance for consumer product categories. Participates in the continuous improvement of the research and protocol process.
• Supports department communications and works with client's staff to respond to inquiries. May be asked to support the development of newsletters, announcements and publications relating to the assigned research scope.
• Communicates with global regulatory and standards bodies to obtain regulations not available through online research. May also be required to contact regulatory bodies to clarify understanding of published standards and regulations to aid in technical inquiry response, test method creation, or other technical service needs.
• Monitors and measures productivity and quality of research to contribute to departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by providing technical advice, training and peer review as needed.
• May assist in the development and implementation of special projects.
• Reads and follows the client's Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed
