Verkada invites new graduates to join the ASE program, a fast-track path into Solutions Engineering. The training blends theory and hands-on field experience across networking, security infrastructure, cloud tech, and Verkada’s technology stack.

Graduates will become Verkada Certified Engineers and may transition into Solutions Engineers. Ideal candidates hold a STEM bachelor’s degree, may have a master’s, and must relocate to San Mateo, CA to work onsite full-time.

About the Role

The ASE program was created to fast-track recent graduates into world-class Solutions Engineers. In this program, the foundation of Solutions Engineering and Tech Sales is broken up into smaller modules that outline the fundamental skills to become a successful, top-tier Solutions Engineer.

As an ASE, you will participate in an intensive technical program that consists of both theoretical and practical training. Skills covered in the program will include a wide variety of topics such as Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Security Infrastructure, Intro to Cloud Technologies, becoming a Verkada Certified Engineer (VCE), Hands-on Field Experience, Training on the entire Verkada Technology Stack, and much more! The program modules will include weekly assignments/assessments and hands-on training to ensure you can apply what you learn, and more importantly, succeed as a Solutions Engineer at Verkada.

Graduating from the ASE Program

After completing the ASE training program, you will be fluent in Verkada products and will have mastered the networking fundamentals required to connect Verkada products to the Cloud. You will have also acquired the soft skills necessary to become a trusted advisor when talking with customers, key stakeholders, product managers, and your Account Executives.

Graduates from this program will have the opportunity to transition into Solutions Engineers, which is one of the most sought-after careers in Silicon Valley. As a Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be the bridge between Engineering and Technical Sales.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, a STEM related degree from an accredited University
• Master’s Degree is a plus

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting base pay may be above or below this range. Base pay is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Estimated Hourly Pay Range

$35 — $40 USD
